Rumer Willis nee TaterHead

Alright. Yes. Okay. It's been a year. Apparently, I am amazing at a lot of things.

The List Of Things At Which I Am Awesome List:
1. Singing
2. Acting
3. Getting into trouble
4. Starting a riot (see #3)
5. Making coq au vain
6. Eating coq au vain
7. Getting coq au vain all over my pristine white blouse
8. Writing
9. Not keeping a blog updated
10. Broadening my horizons

And thank you to those individuals who have thusly pointed out each of these things. You know who you are.

So. In answer to #9, and possibly avoiding #3.... and #7, I shall now exercise #8 and write a blog.

Ahem.

Since it has been a year since my last post, many things have happened. I turned 26. I fell in love with someone whom should have been off the Common Sense List. I starred in two shows. I went to Italy, hired to sing at the Rome Music Festival with the Rome Symphony Orchestra in the Piazza del Poppolo, where I sight-saw, cavorted Italian style, ate tons of pasta, bread, gelatto and drank TONS of wine and still managed to lose 20 lbs (I think it may have been all the Italian-style cavorting). I quit no less than 2 jobs in a row, both in the travel industry which can lovingly suck my balls. I saw 15 movies, sang 40 shows at different Seattle small venues with a jazz combo, managed to move twice in the course of six months because of heartless cow apartment managers and said goodbye to my favorite companion, my puppy CodyBing.

That sums up 2007.

This year, so far, I have turned 27. I finagled myself into two shows at once. Thusly, I have been diagnosed with nervous exhaustion. I fell spectacularly out of love and was despairingly heartbroken for 2 months. I finally took a decent job which I like, working for the Port of Seattle in the Expansion Office, which is fitting considering the state of my thighs, where I make a ton of money and practically do nothing all day long. I have excersized my right to #5 and #6 a few times, though needless to say, #7 was in full force both times. I will probably be moving again sometime this summer, hopefully close to work, which is nicely situated very close to the water. And also hopefully it will be a more permanent move. My poor Oskar kitty can hardly take any more. I have read 13 classic novels, seen 2 movies and re-watched the entirety of 24, because I miss watching it on television.

I recently found out that the people at the Rome Music Festival requested me to come back to do next year's festival, this time, giving me even more stage time and money. So after that's done, I shall move on to Greece and Turkey and continue my discovery of this awesome planet and its questionable inhabitants.

Generally, I think it's wonderful what #1 and #2 can do for me in terms of #10.

Until next time... or maybe next year, after which I shall turn 28, hopefully have not moved for a while, still be in lots of shows, lost twenty pounds BEFORE going to Italy, Greece and Turkey, updated The List of Things I At Which I Am Awesome List atleast 7 times, and randomly referenced Rumer Willis as TaterHead atleast twice.
